Some preparation that you may need for emergency communication at anytime.
1) Portable HT
- Always keep batteries full charge
- Bring few batteries along
- Emergency frequency set in Priority Channel
2) Mobile Mode(battery or engine generator)
- Any batteries that provide 12 volt DC always in full charge
- Fuel for the Engine Generator always full
- Antenna in good condition include all cables(DC or Coax) are well maintained.
3) Base Mode(battery or engine generator or supplied AC)
- Batteries full charged
- Fuel for gen set always full
- Antenna and all cables are well maintained.
Side personal preparations:
- Enough food
- Enough Clothing
- First Aid kits
- Others that you may need.
