Lifeline on EmComm by Amateur Radio Operator in Japan.

After the earthquake of magnitude 8.9 strike Japan on Friday 11 March 2010, all amateur radio operator put in EmComm mode to provide lifeline communication in effected area which rescue team are in full action. Amateur Radio operator either from international or local in Japan offered their help. JARL(JA1RL) open it Tokyo HQ and Regional office for the said EmComm effort.

Frequency that asked to be cleared from A1 Club Japan is as below:
3.525MHz +/-5kHz 
7.030MHz +/-5kHz 
14.100MHz +/-10kHz
21.200MHz +/-10kHz
28.200MHz +/-10kHz
50.100MHz / 51.000MHz / 51.500MHz
144.100MHz / 145.000MHz / 145.500MHz
430.100MHz / 433.000MHz / 433.500MHz

The IARU Region III Emergency Center of Activity frequencies are 3.600, 7.110, 14.300, 18.160 and 21.360 MHz.

Emergency frequencies being reported by amateur radio operators from Japan include 7.130, 14.230 and 21.230 MHz.

Other than that, following the earthquake strike, the International Space Station Amateur Radio Station Digipeater is now operational on 145.825MHz to handle APRS traffic for the effected area in Japan. All APRS traffic will be repeated via on board ISS AX.25 Packet Digipeater to any ground Igate Station which feeds all to Internet APRS System for tracking. Station who have option of UI-View(APRS viewer) or other APRS supported viewer may see the traffic. You may use google earth with APRS capability to view the activities.
